The Prophet (P.B.U.H) Seeks Refuge From Many Evil Trials
Aisha reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would say, “O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the trials and punishment of the Hellfire, from the trials and punishment of the grave, from the evil of the trials of wealth, and from the evil of the trials of poverty. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of the trials of the False Messiah. O Allah, cleanse my heart with the water of snow and hail and purify my heart from sins, just as the white garment is purified from grime, and distance me from my sins, just as You have distanced the east from the west. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from sloth, sinfulness, and indebtedness.”
عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرماتے: اے اللہ میں جہنم کے فتنے اور عذاب سے، قبر کے فتنے اور عذاب کے شر سے تیری پناہ مانگتی ہوں۔ دولت، اور غربت کی آزمائشوں کے شر سے۔ اے اللہ میں جھوٹے مسیح کے فتنے کے شر سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔ اے اللہ میرے دل کو برف اور اولوں کے پانی سے صاف کردے اور میرے دل کو گناہوں سے پاک کردے جس طرح سفید کپڑا گندگی سے پاک ہوتا ہے اور مجھے میرے گناہوں سے دور کردے جس طرح تو نے مشرق کو مغرب سے دور کیا ہے۔ اے اللہ میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں سستی، گناہ اور قرض سے۔”
