Ubayy ibn Ka’b reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, taught us to say when we entered the morning, “We have entered the morning upon the pure nature of Islam, the word of sincerity, the Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and the religion of our father Abraham, the monotheist, the Muslim who was not one of the idolaters.” We would say the same when we entered the evening.
ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں یہ سکھایا کہ جب ہم صبح کریں تو یہ کہنا کہ ہم نے اسلام کی خالص فطرت، اخلاص کے کلمے، سنت رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر صبح کی ہے۔ ہمارے نبی محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور ہمارے باپ ابراہیم کا دین، توحید پرست، مسلمان جو مشرکوں میں سے نہیں تھا۔” شام میں داخل ہوتے وقت ہم بھی یہی کہتے۔
