It Is Forbidden For People Of The Same Gender To Expose Their Private Parts To Each Other

‘Abd al-Rahman, the son of Abu Sa’id al-Khudri, reported from his father: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: A man should not see the private parts of another man, and a woman should not see the private parts of another woman, and a man should not lie with another man under one covering, and a woman should not lie with another woman under one covering.

Sahih Muslim 338a (Book 3, Hadith 90)

This hadith from Prophet Muhammad ﷺ teaches us that it is forbidden for people of the same gender to expose their private parts to each other or lie together under one covering. This hadith emphasizes that intimate relationships between genders should be respected and not taken lightly. It also serves as a reminder that we should always be mindful of our actions and respect boundaries when interacting with others. We must remember that Allah has set limits on what is permissible and what is not, so we must strive to stay within those limits in order to remain righteous in His eyes.
